The API allows 600 requests per minute per token. Responses include headers that tell you how much is left.

Headers

  • X-RateLimit-Limit: your limit per minute

  • X-RateLimit-Remaining: requests left in this window

  • Retry-After: seconds to wait after a 429

Errors

Errors use standard status codes and a JSON body with a code and a message.

Backing off

On a 429, wait for the number of seconds in Retry-After, then retry. Add a little random delay if many workers share a token.
